From runway to real life
Her career began with a passion for fashion and editorial makeup — applying the final touches backstage before models stepped onto runways, learning early on that makeup isn't decoration. It's transformation.
UK film and commercial sets followed — environments where the brief could change in seconds, where continuity under pressure was the job, where working alongside directors and DPs trained her eye in ways no classroom ever could.
Then Paris — couture shows, editorial campaigns, the kind of work where a single brush stroke is studied in print. London added television and broadcast: the peculiar science of making a face read perfectly under unforgiving studio lights.
Today, she's based in Strensall, just north of York. Every client who sits in her chair benefits from all of it — that professional expertise, that trained eye, that 20-year depth of experience.
